Neeta Bhushan is the best-selling author of the book, Emotional Grit where she talks about building the emotional resilience to help people discover their true potential. She is the Co-Founder of Global Grit Institute.
 
Neeta is a known advocate of emotional intelligence and using the power of your story to discover who you are. 

She lost both her parents and brother before she turned 19. And as a young girl, going through such a massive loss in her life- Neeta went on to fulfil her parent’s dream by becoming a cosmetic dentist- built a million-dollar dentistry practice. She was successful in the outside world. But something was not right inside her. 

After almost a decade she realized she was trying to run away from the trauma of the losses and find comfort outside of her. She decided to leave her dentistry practice, share her story and inspire others to do the same. 

On our conversation, we explore the power of owning your story, when to share it, how it can act as a medicine for others, how you can develop self-compassion, become more vulnerable and a lot more.
